The Industrial Revolution would not have been possible without the findings of Natural Resources. The 3 main resources that were desprately needed during this time was that of Oil, Coal, and Iron. Chemicals also played a major role in the advancing of the industrial revolution.
Oil was one of the biggest advances in the industrail revolution that we know of. This was so important that without the oil harvested all transportation would not be able to function either. They still needed oil for the transportation. The locomotive (Transportation and Communication) for example would need it for the gears and other things. Without the oil the steam locomotive would be rendered useless.

This is a picture of an old Oil drill from the early 1800's.

Coal was another major resource that was used. During the industrail revolution many things relied on coal. One of the many that did was the locomotive. The locomotive needed the coal to create steam and begin to be powered. Not only did coal power machines, but it also powered the lightbulbs when coal was the only alternitive. From coal you make iron. Without Iron where would we be today. Iron is put into many things such as buildings and bridges in the modern day world.
Many Chemicals of this day were founded back in the industrail age. Bleach and other household products now days were found back then. WIthout these chemicals there would be nothing. Through this we have what we have today.
In conclusion we see that without minerals or resources the industrial revolution as we know it would not have happend until today. The reason why not until today is because we are starting to power stuff with corn and ethonol. The Industrial revolution though played a major role in the processing of the coiming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Without these minerals History as we know it would have been changed.
